If you have a new phone or plans to change smartphone devices, and you are a GCash user, you might want to do this first before disposing the old device completely.
1. Launch the GCash app, go to your Profile and go to Settings.
2. Tap Account Secure. Here you will see which phone your GCash account is currently linked to. Tap the drop-down arrow and then tap Unregister Phone.
3. On the next page loaded, tap Yes, Unregister to proceed with unregistering your device.
4. Scan your facial biometrics to confirm that you permit the unregistering of the current phone with GCash.
5. Once your facial biometric is confirmed, GCash will confirm that you have unregistered your phone from your GCash account. You are now logged out from GCash.
Afterwards, you can proceed to log in to your GCash account on the new device.
